Basic Home Made Dog Food Recipe

In general, dog food should comprise 1/3 protein from meat, eggs or dairy products, 2/3 grains and vegetables. 3 pounds minced chicken meat 2 1/2 cups frozen vegetable blend (no garlic or onions), minced 4 cups rice 6 1/2 cups water

Home-Made Dog Biscuits

2 cups whole wheat flour
1 tablespoon baking powder
Pinch of cinnamon
1 cup peanut butter (smooth or chunky)
Enough milk to thin peanut butter

Mix. Press mixture into a baking pan or form mixed dough into a large bar and bake at 400° degrees for 20 minutes.

Remove from oven and cut into smaller biscuit-sized bars or bite sized pieces. Bake again at 400° for 10 minutes.
